We are well pleased to be announcing that rising UK star Fiona Bevan will be performing at Unbridled 2014. Fiona has a stunning voice, and is all around slightly excessively talented. She is definitely NOT to be missed!
Playing live has been the cornerstone of Bevan’s career since she first stepped on stage in Colchester aged 15. Her teenage band lasted four years, after which she moved to London to study and went solo with her guitar. Along the way, she has played with dozens of other artists in all sorts of genres of music. There was even a brief spell as a bassist in a band mentored by Adam Ant and fronted by Georgina Baillie (the woman at the centre of the Sachsgate scandal).
Last year, Bevan wrote, recorded and toured with jazz vocalist Gwyneth Herbert. Reviewing the show in London, The Guardian gushed that “Bevan took us on startling odysseys that suggested Erykah Badu, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush spine-tinglingly joined”. More recently, she has been in L.A. co-writing with Grammy Award-winning producer John Shanks.
Tickets are on sale now at TryBooking and you can read more about Fiona on our Performers page!

Kate is a tertiary educated professional horse person with over twenty years experience riding, competing, Training & Horsemanship and educating horses (and their owners). Kate’s personal horse Training & Horsemanship philosophy focuses on safety and comfort for both horse and rider. This involves breaking lessons down into manageable pieces that the horse is able to learn in a sequential manner. Regardless of discipline, all Training & Horsemanship begins with the ‘Foundation Lessons’ – the building blocks for a safe and confident equine partner.

September 22nd, 2014 | The Burley Griffin will be rockin’ out at Unbridled 2014!
Get your dancin’ shoes on folks, because The Burley Griffin will be bringing the party to Unbridled 2014. This seriously solid Canberra band are definitely stars on the rise!
A four piece Australian folk n’ roll band, The Burley Griffin hail from the deeper regions of Canberra. While built firmly on the back of lead vocalist and songwriter Evan Buckley’s early career, in recent times the band has quietly evolved bringing new writing into the fold.
Set to record their second studio release early next month, their sincere song writing boasts robust melodies supported by serious talent. Drawing from disparate music backgrounds, their style can be described as folk rock with a bit of alternative country twang thrown in. Their original music flaunts strong lyrical accessibility and time with The Burley Griffin is always a booty-shaking, toe tapping, delightful experience.
